Real GHG Software is designed to support organisations in the collection, management and calculation of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions based on the activity data, emission factors, methodologies and other information entered or selected by the user.

The calculations and outputs generated through the software are intended to assist in GHG accounting and reporting and should not be considered as an independent verification, assurance statement, certification or regulatory approval.

The accuracy and completeness of the results depend on the accuracy, completeness and reliability of the data and information provided by the user. The user is responsible for reviewing and validating all input data, assumptions, organisational and operational boundaries, and calculation results before using the outputs for reporting, disclosure, regulatory, customer or other purposes.

The software is designed with reference to relevant GHG accounting principles and methodologies, including ISO 14064-1:2018 and the GHG Protocol, as applicable. However, the use of this software alone does not guarantee compliance with any specific legal, regulatory, reporting, verification, assurance or certification requirement.

Where independent verification or assurance is required, such verification or assurance must be conducted by a competent and independent verification or assurance body, as applicable.

The software provider reserves the right to update methodologies, emission factors, calculation approaches, features and functionalities based on changes in applicable standards, guidance, regulations or technical requirements.

By using this software, the user acknowledges that the final responsibility for the use, interpretation and reporting of GHG emissions information remains with the respective organisation.
